As of January 1st 2011, the EPA is enforcing new requirements that Control Air Emissions from PAINT STRIPPING AND MISCELLANEOUS SURFACE COATING OPERATIONS in Auto Body Shops.

One Part of these new regulations states “Spray booths/stations used to coat miscellaneous parts or products or vehicle subassemblies must have a full roof, at least three complete walls or side curtains, and ventilated so that air is drawn into the booth.”
