(Pewaukee, WI) Auto paint and coating operations can now quickly set a work area for UV paint curing that separates this function from other processes nearby. Goff’s introduces their Curtain Walls – the industry standard for area separation – equipped with a “Weldview” window section that blocks harmful UV rays while containing welding fumes. he area.
These rugged, OSHA approved curtains are made of demanding industrial operations and feature a 28″ high bottom panel. The darker Weldview passes less visible light for a better working en
vironment. The 14-mil thick Weldview section PVC meets CPAI-84 and California Health and Safety codes. The 14oz reinforced vinyl top and bottom panels meet NNFPA-701 test for fire retardancy.
The polyvinyl curtain material is water repellent; mildew and rot resistant, plus withstands most chemicals. It can endure maximum temperature to 180° F and contains a cold crack resistance to -40° F.
The sections are joined using mildew/rot resistant thread. Brass, toothed grommets are placed one-foot on center along the top for attachment to dual wheeled roller hooks that glide easily on the 16 gauge galvanized steel track system.
To enable access to the area, the curtains glide easily on steel track and rollers. The curtains have reinforced hems and chain weighted bottom to prevent separation from the floor from drafts and positive/negative pressures.
Goff’s Curtain Walls easily attach to one another via two-inch industrial Velcro fasteners placed in two, one-foot sections on each outer vertical edge and a zinc plated chain is sewn into the bottom edge for additional weight.
