Here at Goff’s Enterprises, we jump at any opportunity to show off our innovative solutions in high-performance doors whenever we get a chance… and we had a great chance at the recent WASA 2019 show in Las Vegas.
The Western Access Systems Association (WASA) the biggest west-coast non-profit trade group specifically for manufacturers of industrial doors, gates and other portals, along with associated machinery. This is a special show for us, since it’s directly tied to our core business, and gives us some of our best opportunities all year to meet, greet, and network!
Having A Great Time at WASA 2019
WASA 2019 was held at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas, on October 4-5. One nice thing about a smaller show like this, when everyone is from the same industry and area, is that we all know each other. It can be more like a big party than a formal show – as evidenced by the yearly bowling tournament!
Plus, along with the exhibitors, there was a surprisingly good turnout. We got plenty of opportunities to meet-and-greet and show off our clean guard doors.
The seminars were great too, particularly the IDEA “train the trainer” presentation. Training is a big part of our industry, but training skills are often neglected in favor of more hands-on work. A presentation all about good training methods was welcome, and we picked up a lot of great tips!
It also tied in well with the IDEA testing and certification going on in the second day, for anyone who wanted to join in.
In short, we consider the show to have been a complete success! We saw plenty of old friends, got to make some great new business contacts, and we’re looking forward to working with them in the future.
